Result: Mid-pack

Although it rained a bit this morning, the races were held and despite the weather record fields showed up! Even more than last year! I asked the promoter, he thought it was probably the TV coverage of the SF Race. Anyway, Kent braved then wet pavement and was in the top ten going into the last corner then couldn't quite hold it. But he finished and he is clearly much improved. Kent, feel free to write us up a report or talk about it at the meeting, we love that kind of junk!

In the 3/4 race, I got there just in time to see Pritpal get 4th! Nice job! I didn't get to hear the details on that one, but I did see him cross the line. Again, Pritpal share your experience.

In the 1/2/3 race I hung back for awhile while the pace was fast, then moved up after two guys left off the front and the pace slowed down. With 4 to go I moved up a lot, and then got pushed back. I really pushed hard on the last lap back straight and got up to maybe 12th. That hurt though so I didn't have too much for the sprint. I just sat and peddled my but off. I passed a few and got passed by a few. Robin thought I got somewhere between 10th and 12th, that's plenty OK for me in a 1/2/3 race. Most importantly I got home in time to finish making her birthday cake.
